Psittacus Omega is a high-quality extruded food with increased nutritional value, especially suitable for young parrots up to one year old and birds with increased nutritional needs, such as during recovery.
This food is suitable for African greys, macaws, Senegal parrots and other medium and large species. Its formulation pays particular attention to the balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

Composition: cereals and their products, oil seeds and fruits, vegetable oils (palm and flaxseed), legume seeds and their products, fructose, dried whole eggs, minerals, dried brewer’s yeast, chicory inulin, marigold meal and Mojave yucca.

Feeding recommendations: Omega can be used as a complete staple food. If fresh vegetables and fruit are also offered, Omega should make up at least 70–80% of the total diet. Medium-sized parrots, such as African greys, typically eat approximately 25–45 g per day.
For species prone to excess weight, such as Amazons and cockatoos, the amount of Omega should be limited.
Always provide fresh drinking water.
