Psittacus High Protein is a high-quality extruded food for parrots whose natural diet includes fruit and seeds with low or moderate fat content. It is especially suitable for Amazons, cockatoos, ring-necked parakeets and Pionus parrots.

This food is intended for daily use outside the breeding season, providing a balanced diet with higher protein and moderate fat content.

Composition: cereals and their products, oil seeds and fruits, legume seeds and their products, vegetable oils (high-oleic sunflower oil and refined flaxseed oil), fructose, dried brewer’s yeast, minerals, chicory inulin and Mojave yucca.

Feeding recommendations: High Protein can be used as a complete staple food. If fresh vegetables and fruit are also offered, High Protein should make up at least 70% of the total diet by weight. Medium-sized parrots, such as blue-fronted Amazons, typically eat approximately 20–40 g per day, depending on activity and individual needs.
