Psittacus Vitamin-Mineral Supplement is a powdered supplementary feed for parrots whose diets are based on seed mixes. It is formulated to help compensate for the vitamin, mineral and trace-element deficiencies associated with seed-based diets.
Suitable for various seed-eating parrot species, including African greys, Amazons, macaws, cockatiels and budgerigars, when additional vitamins and minerals are needed in their diet.

Composition: minerals and their products, cereals and their products, dried brewer’s yeast, oil seeds and fruits and their products, vegetable oils (high-oleic sunflower oil and refined flaxseed oil), legume seeds and their products, sugars and marigold meal.

Nutritional additives: vitamins A, D3, E, C, K3 and B-group vitamins, biotin, folic acid, choline, beta-carotene, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, iodine and selenium.
Feeding recommendations: Sprinkle the powder over moist food, such as sprouted or cooked seeds, fruit and vegetables, so that it adheres well to the food.
The recommended daily amount is 4% of the dry weight of the unbalanced part of the diet. For example, the manufacturer recommends 36 g of product for 1 kg of seeds, or 2 g for 1 kg of fresh fruit.
If the parrot also receives complete pellets, adjust the supplement amount to cover only the part of the diet made up of seeds and other unbalanced foods.
Important: This product is not intended for regular addition to an already complete and balanced diet. Avoid using it at the same time as drinking water containing choline chloride.
